Short and Sassy – the Jette Skort

Annette in her Jette
This is Annette’s pick. It is a shorter skirt in a light, flyweight material. It has front pleats for easy movement, two quad pockets, a drawstring, and the 4 inch shorties have super soft grippers. It also has a nice wide, comfy waistband. (MB and Deborah are also fans.)
I love the Jette! I was worried about it being too short for my age, but I think it looks fun! So pretty and the shorts didn’t move!
Fabulous Pleats – Lioness

Sandy loves the lioness
Is it possible to have a really cute skirt that has a drawstring, stay put grippers on the shorts, pockets, and does not move when you run? Yes – that’s why I love the Lioness skirt!!!
The Lioness is the same length as the Jette, but with all around gentle pleats. It has THREE, yes THREE pockets. Two on the quads, and one rear zipper pocket. It is a different fabric from and is a bit higher in the rise than the Jette. It also has 4″ shorties and soft grippers.
The Multifunctional Redemption Capri

LA, the warrior, in Redemption Capri and peekaboo long sleeve
Yoga in my favorite place, with my favorite people, in my favorite clothes!
LA is hitting warrior one in the Redemption Capris in a much sought after older print (TANTRUM!) with the peek-a-boo long sleeve top. The Redemption is a fantastic fit, and has been updated into the Pocketopia capri. . . see below!
The Perfect Update – The Pocketopia Capri

Mindy in pocketopia
Pocketopia capris are my absolute favorite SS product. Pockets, comfort, coverage, more pockets, and fun patterns! (Photo credit goes to my 5 year old 😳).
Skirt Sports has perfected the multi pocket capri with the Pocketopia. Working from the great Redemption base, they’ve added two upper quad pockets, and their placement, well, it’s just amazing. Not too high. Not too low. And you don’t feel like you have saddlebags!
Super Light and Fast – the Hover

MB in racecation tank and hover skirt
I adore the Hover! It’s sassy, but also streamlined, and the lighter mesh shorties are fab. It’s the first skirt I reach for every day. It’s great with the racecation tank – light mesh that just flows with your body (and has a high enough neckline for cycling).
The Hover is an awesome new addition to the skirt family. It’s short like the Jette, and made from the same flyweight material, but less of it. Instead of pleats, it has a simple wrap in front. The shorties are made from a lighter mesh than the Jette – so you feel naked (in a good way!). And, of course, it has the two quad pockets. This skort is short, light, and perfect for the summer months!
Feeling’ Tough (and matchy matchy) – The Tough Chick Top

Deborah in the tough chick top
This is the best winter top ever. I have a closet full of winter clothes, but I wear this one constantly. Perfect weight, perfect fit.
A Skirt Sports mainstay, the Tough Chick Top has a great kangaroo pocket in the front, a half zip, thumbholes, and is a perfect winter weight fabric – working for all but the coldest days! (MB, Deborah, and LA all have this exact same top!)
The Classic Best Seller – The Gym Girl Ultra

Jenny in the gym girl ultra (and Andy)
Stay-put shorties and the length are perfect for my body type. I can carry my phone, tissues, key and doggie bags. It’s all easily accessible!
And we end with the best selling Gym Girl Ultra. Longer than the Jette, Lioness, and Hover, it’s made from soft fabric like the Lioness, has super cute side slits for movement, the two quad pockets (of course), and longer shorties. The GGU has 5″ shorties made from compressive fabric that doesn’t even need grippers!
So, what kind of skirt are YOU? Let us know!
And don’t forget, #realwomenmove!
I guess I am a Jette, totally short and sassy!!!
I love the Jette, too.
Great summary of some of the best products! I’m a Lioness girl – love the pleats and frills surrounding my muscular legs.
